Planting is developed specifically for the conditions of each property. We consider soil, drainage, sun exposure, climate, existing ecology, maintenance, and how the landscape will change through the seasons.
Rather than applying a fixed palette, we select plants for how they will behave in a particular place: how quickly they grow, how they respond to heat and wind, what they attract, and how they will relate to the architecture and materials around them.
We design and build elements that are difficult to find off the shelf or that need to fit a space precisely. This can include benches, tables, planters, pergolas, storage, outdoor kitchens, built-in seating, and one-off structures.

Outdoor lighting should make a space safer and more usable without flattening its atmosphere. We develop lighting plans that support paths, gathering areas, planting, architecture, and nighttime use while avoiding unnecessary brightness.
The aim is to create enough light to live outside comfortably while preserving shadow, depth, and a sense of the landscape after dark.
