MISSION

Toffey Studio is a California-based bespoke landscape design studio. Our mission is to actualize the clients' visions, transforming exteriors into timeless oases that maintain the highest level functionality.  Our design practice aims to transcend seasonality, creating outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed not only during the day, but throughout the year.

BACKGROUND

Born in New Jersey, Ben Toffey witnessed brutal winters, transient patio furniture, and ubiquitous front lawns. Outdoor living was a purely seasonal concept. Moving to California in 2017, Ben plunged into the endless nature and abundant sunshine. Living outdoors finally felt natural. A design shop grew in tandem-- starting with garden layouts and custom furniture building.  Now a multidisciplinary studio,  Toffey studio provides services spanning outdoor kitchens to pool houses, and raised beds to full landscapes.

Based in Venice Beach, Los Angeles.

Operating between LA, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, and Borrego Springs.
